SOLAR WATER HEATING SYSTEMS
Evacuated Heat Pipe Collectors and Flat Plate Panels
The collector is hermetically sealed inside an evacuated glass tube, eliminating convection &
conduction heat loss and isolating the collector from adverse ambient conditions, for instance
high humidity weather. Therefore, no heat losses due to convection and conduction and no
change of performance in the service life of the collector due to corrosion.
Uses a heat-pipe for a super efficient heat conduction. No water enters the solar evacuated
heat-pipe collector. Works even on cloudy days.
The heat-pipe has a self limitation of maximum working temperature through the physical
properties of its special fluid, resulting to safety of the system from overheating.
Thermal diode operating principle. The heat-pipe’s thermal flow is one way - from the
collector to the water and never in reverse.
Corrosion and freeze free; there is nothing within the evacuated tube to freeze and the
hermetic sealing of each tube eliminates corrosion.
Easy to install and no maintenance. Light weight individual collector tubes are attached to the
system. Each tube is independently sealed requiring no maintenance
Relatively insensitive to placement angle, allowing architectural and aesthetic freedom.
Failure safety control System. Failure or interruption will not compromise the tubes.
